Our trip got off OK, as is Win and my custom we had a couple of bubbles before boarding, so in a great frame of mind and already starting to relax.
The flight was delayed by over an hour, bummer, which of course got us into Bangkok at about 1:40AM.
The flight itself was not too bad, watched Argo, but slept thru Lincoln which meant that the time slipped by.
After disembarking, we got to passport control at about 2, and finally got thru at 2:40AM, lo and behold our bags were waiting for us. Caught the shuttle to the airport Novotel hotel. A few hours sleep, back to the terminal (later) on Friday morning for the domestic flight to Koh Samui.
Not too much excitement as yet but I expect this to change once we get onto the island.
Nice to know it wasn't that exciting to meet your son in Bangkok after 12 months
ReplyDeleteDidn't see Ben on Thursday/Friday night when we arrived, too darned tired, but lovely to see him over breakfast Friday
